Dreilinden #4 Solar Clock -
the camera positioning to get this composition was a challenge.
Lots of pp but as Spike Milligan said 'The boring truth or an interesting lie?'.
ICC Berlin -
An older image with new post-processing. The giant air vents dominate the image but I like the window geometry which remind of Hannibal Lector's facemask. My first outing with a 14-24mm.
Kraftverk Blue -
I love this image - post processing brought out the texture and tones of the nearest features in the image and it seemed a logical conclusion to split to black and white. Need to go back here….
Kraftwerk Wheel -
The wheel is a stage prop remaining from a production of the Marquis de Sade which was held here. Tried every angle with a Nikon T&S.
Vockerode
Kraftverk America -
…a design for the whole human race, the last and greatest of all human dreams - or nothing.
Francis Scott K. Fitzgerald
Coswig #1 -
A disused chemical works; the high vantage point was a challenge to capture the scale of the building.
Use of textures in pp add tones to the bland features
Bärenquelle Brauerei
Beer Labels On the Floor
Reichstag, Berlin
Tusk -
The Berlin Reichstag at night - named Tusk because of the form of the walkway
I used this image as the main backdrop for this site - sprinkled with a few Drelinden clocks…
and those sublime people at 1x.com actually liked it too..!
